Very nice post Charlene! I've given up a lot of the pre-Christmas activities we used to do. Like corporate Christmas parties and the endless dinners. Try to have all the presents wrapped and mailed out the first week of December and all the baking done too. So I can just focus on the true meaning of CHRISTmas. It's so nice to sit in the evening and read the Bible or listen to the music of the season, some of it is so uplifting.

I got this for one of my daughter-in-laws who is behind the others in her cooking skills. I do have some recipes by Jamie and they are very good.
http://blog.kosher.com/ is her blog and there are recipes on site.
There are lots of kosher recipes online. There is no reason to buy a book unless you want one for the home.

Thats when I do most of my shopping online--for clothes for myself as well as my son. We are both hard-to-find sizes, so it's easier to shop online when we need something. I can't always find what I need through ebates, but I usually try there first, so I end up with a rebate check once or twice a year from them.
