Spending Those Register Rewards at Walgreens

$11.00 in Register Rewards + $1.67 OOP

Today was my first day of shopping for this week. I started out with $23.00 in Register Rewards to "burn", plus my coupon binder and my weekly ad circular. This is what I bought:

2 Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats, on sale 2/$5, less $1.50/2 IPQ (internet printed coupon),buying two generates a $1 RR, net of $1.25 each

2 Softsoap, $2.79, on sale B1G1,less 2 $1 IPQs, $.79 for 2 or $.40 each

2 Hefty Zipper storage bags, $3.29, on sale B1G1, or $1.65 each

1 pkg Northern toilet tissue, $4.29--this is my go-to t.p. deal if there isn't anything on sale that I like

1 2-pk Pilot Gel Pens, on sale $1, this generates a $1 RR, making this free

2 pkgs pencils, $.29 each

2 pkgs ink pens, $.19 each

I used $13.00 in Register Rewards from last week, paid $1.67 in cash OOP, and received $2 in Register Rewards for next time. The cash register receipt shows savings of $32.97 or 95% savings this includes the sales discounts, coupons, and Register Rewards--I never would have actually paid that much for these items.

Because of the mess up last week, I still have $10 in RR that I have to use before they expire on Sunday. If I don't find anything else I want or need, I can always stock up on toilet tissue or something like that we can always use!

How are you doing at your frugal shopping this week? For more deals, see the main Mission Possible post below.

Until next time...
