The first stop on my shopping-with-intent trip today was CVS. They have lots of school supplies on sale this week, and a number of free-after-ECB (Extra Care Bucks) for the first three days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday). I don't have a little one still in school these days, but I do have one still in college. Most school supplies are usuable at home, or can be donated to school supply drives in the fall. The store I went to was already out of some items, but I did get these:
2 1 subject notebooks, $1.99 each, on sale for $.99 each, these generate a $.99 ECB, limit 2
2 rulers, $1.19 each, on sale for $.99, generates a $.99 ECB, limit 2
2 pkgs Papermate ink pens, $1.99 each, on sale for $.99 each, generates a $.99 ECB, limit 3 (I thought these were limit 2 like most of the others, so I only got 2)
1 Diet Coke (not pictured) $.99
Total merchandise pre-sale $11.33, after sale $6.93, I had $5.99 in ECBs from last week, total cash paid after tax $.99, and I received $5.94 in ECBs for next time.
