Rite Aid is paying me $.67 for bringing these home
It's been a really long time since I've worked deals at Rite Aid. Walgreens rebates were quicker and they added 10%, and CVS Extra Care Bucks were immediate, so it seemed easier to play CVS and Walgreens for a while. Walgreens has done away with their rebate program, and CVS deals seem fewer and farther between these days, so I took an opportunity for some freebies from Rite Aid this afternoon. This is what I bought:
2 Bounty Basic paper towels, $1.29, on sale B1G1 free, less $1 and $.25 MQs (manufacturer's coupons--one from the P&G coupon books mailed out earlier this year from a special promotion, one from the newspaper inserts), or $.04 for both. (These aren't the best quality papertowels, but for $.02? I'll take them!)
1 Crest Pro-Health enamel, $2.69, less $1 MQ, or $1.69--this is eligible for Rite Aid's single check rebate program--I entered the information from my cash register receipt on-line, and they'll mail me a check for the full purchase price--$2.69--so I'll make money off of this
6 candy bars/pkgs--regular $.88, on sale B1G1 free, I used three of the MM Mars "free chocolate" coupons, so I got all of these for free.
Total: $12.06 in merchandise at pre-sale prices, paid $2.02 OOP (out-of-pocket) after sales and coupons, and will receive $2.69 in a rebate check, so this trip was a $67 moneymaker. Whoo hoo!

Until next time...
