This Week's Mission Possible 5/18-5/23

A couple of weeks ago I had decided to retire the Mission Possible Mr Linky due to lack of participation. A couple of things have made me reconsider, though--
  1. I miss it! I like doing my Mission Possible Posts, and I like being able to link them all up at one place.
  2. I participate in a "meme" (that's blog-talk for "theme"!) at another blog that doesn't get a lot of participants, either, I realized how much I would miss getting to do my weekly post and link up if the blog owner decided to retire that meme.
  3. One of my regulars. Liz at Hoosier Homemade, left her deal post in a comment on my Mission Possible Walgreens post from earlier in the week, so I do have a few who would still join in from time to time.

So I've decided to resurrect the Mission Possible meme. It's a little late in the week, so I still may not get many participants this week, or ever for that matter, but I like my meme and so it's back.

And now--your mission and mine, should we choose to accept it, is to take the resources we have available to us--coupons, rebates, Extra Care Bucks, Register Rewards, and weekly ad circulars--to get the things our families need and can use, all while keeping our out-of-pocket as low as possible.

If you're not a blogger and would like to share your deals, please do so in the comments. Bloggers, please link directly to your deal posts!

I have not done this before, but thought it would be exciting to look at how everyone did!

Visiting from the link a thon! Love this idea. I just started a meme at my site for decluttering and didn't have much participation yet either. Best of luck. I'll be back to join up on the weeks that I can get to CVS and Walgreens. We don't have either in my town so I have to do most of my shopping at the local grocery and dollar store.

Visit me at #29 and 30.

Thanks for mentioning me! I don't always shop at Walgreens, although I have been more lately because they are re-building our CVS.
I'm glad you're back!
