Missions Possible Walgreens

$25.78 for $0 OOP

I finally got a chance to make it to my smalltown Walgreens today. I had $6 in register rewards from last week, and my handy coupon binder, along with the store weekly circular. There were two things that I wanted in particular, the Dawn dishwashing liquid, and the Bounty paper towels. I ended up with everything pictured, for a net of $0 out-of-pocket!

Transaction 1:

Dawn Dishwashing liquid, $1.99, less in-ad coupon making it $.99, less $.50 manufacturer's coupon (MQ) from the Home Made Simple mailer booklet, making this $.49

Colgate Sensitive toothpaste, the paper showed $4.99 with register reward, making this free--mine only rang up $4.49, and generated a RR of $4.50--still free after RR, but the difference almost messed me up--luckily I had a filler for transaction 2 that I switched over to transaction 1 so that I would have a net in merchandise (after coupons) greater than my RR--less a $.75 MQ from recent newspaper inserts, or $3.74; after the register reward of $4.50, this was still a $.75 moneymaker

2 jars Skippy Peter Pan Peanut Butter, clearanced to $.85 each

1 pkg Chicken of the Sea Salmon, clearanced to $.45

Total after coupons and $6 in Register Rewards from last week, $.38, total OOP after tax $.96; received $4.50RR for the toothpaste

Transaction 2:

2 rolls Bounty Select a Size paper towels, on sale 2/$3, less $.25 MQ, or $2.75 for two

2 Pert 3-in-1 Men's shampoo, on sale 2/$5, less two $1.50 MQ from Sunday's newspaper inserts, making this $2, this generates a $2 RR, making this free after RR

Used the $4.50 RR from transaction 1, total after Qs and RR, $.25, total OOP after tax $.95, received $2 RR for the shampoo

Totals:

Paid $1.91 cash, cash register tape shows savings of $25.78, received $2 in RR, for a net OOP of less than zero.

How are you doing on your Mission Possible deals this week?

Until next time....

How in the world did I miss that?? My son ate Peter Pan exlusively for years, I should definitely know the Peter Pan jar at a glance!
